Guest List

Many couples struggle with guest lists. Guests lists are such a problem because you are always expected to invite people you don’t care to see and you want so many people there it blows your budget out of the water.

I've been there.

Here's what you need to do.

I have something I like to call the "two part invitation strategy."

Here's how it works:

Create two 2 guest lists.

• List 'A' – the people that have to be at your wedding. This is usually close family and friends.
• List 'B' – These are the people who you would like to attend, but it wouldn’t be the end of the world if they couldn’t come.

Send you're RSVPs to your 'A' list first. Send these out early, giving them an earlier RSVP date than you usually would.

As the "no's" from your 'A' list come in, send invites to your 'B' list.

This will help you stay within your budget and have people who are closest to you there to share your special day. It will also give you room to invite those who might be offended if they do not receive an invitation.

The most important thing is that you pick a guest number and try your best to stick with it.
